I will probably warn you several times between now and February 25th, but don't let anyone tell you who the hero of this book is and do NOT look at the last page. You'll really be sorry if you do.
I've just woken up in London, and I'm delighted to see you're still here.
I never look at the last page, well nearly never.
As for who the hero is, I'll try and keep cotton wool in my ears. But unless we get the book early in London, at the imported book store I use, please, please I'm so hoping we will, I think I shall have to take a trip to the moon to avoid finding out. Because everyone on here is going to understandably be full of it.

Wow, there's been so much speculation in older posts about who the hero of STWOM will be. Now your post here intrigues me even more. The suspense is killing me. lol

Oh boy. This means I won't be able to get on this BB until STWOM is released in Australia. That means at least 2 weeks after everyone else gets it. How sad.

But JeeeeeeeennnnnnniiiiEEEEEEEEEEEEE and Judith!!!! I have to look at the last page. I always do that. It's in my blood. This might just kill me. Torture...total torture.

Good thing you mentioned it becuase as of late, for some reason I keep peeking at the last pages to see how things turn out for the characters in the book I'm reading...and this comes from the person that hates spoliers LOL

You are just really trying to kill us with the suspense!
I never peek at the end...although my dad always reads the ending of books first...he says if it doesn't end well he doesn't want to read the book! LOL!

My first read is as fast as I can and then I re-read slowly...savoring it.
Can't wait! I'm so excited. I remember when NW was released. We were living at Ft Sam Houston in TX. We've since moved 2x...now I'll always remember this city b/c STWOM was released.
For those who don't know...my husband is active duty Army and I also grew up as an Army brat so I tend to remember events by where we lived.

Ok, you ladies are going to bear witness to a monumental vow...here goes nothing. I, Jenn Fielding, do hereby solomnly swear not to peak at the end of STWOM!
*gasp* I don't think I've ever done that before! Imagine, reading a book without peeking. Wow, what a treat
I can't wait! ~Jenn

I hearby nominate that when STWOM comes out that we all make a concerted effort to designate in the subject line whether or not the thread has spoilers.
That is, if a subject is named "**SPOILERS** Don't you just love STWOM's hero? **SPOILERS**" then everyone is alerted that if they open that thread they may read spoilers.
However, if a subject does not say that it has spoilers in it, then no spoilers should be included there and we can feel safe in opening it and reading it.
I think that sounds like a great idea! And in addition, it would be really, really nice if everyone would make an effort not to reveal anything major in the subject line. Just put general stuff like "Can you believe what Leigh said? *SPOILERS*" in the subject line. I mean, it's totally doable if we try hard enough. *steam coming out of Shannon's ears as she tries to imagine it* LOL

Judith, don't you know that you can't tell a child NOT to touch the pretty things? Jeez, telling us NOT to look is almost encouragement enough to look.
Actually, I don't think I've ever peeked. And I won't this time either.

Well Judith, you have certainly issued me a challenge, since I am horrible at stealing a peek at the last page!
But because you've asked, and I totally trust you on this, Judith, I will (probably for the first time in my adult life) NOT look at the last page until I've read the entire book. *Scout's honor*

Jenn, I do the same thing. How will I ever get through this book without peeking at the end? This will probably have me starting to bite my fingernails or something.
Thanks for the warning, I'd hate to ruin the whole book by seeing who the hero is before reading the entire story.

Suzanne Brockmann is another author many of us read. She's a hoot. She is writing a series on Navy SEALs. Quite interesting. At any rate, she left us one whopper of a cliffhanger a few books ago, and she is still dragging us along.
You probably heard the screams throughout the land as each one of us finished this particular book, Over the Edge. The cliffhanger hit us like a freight train on one of the last pages.
That's the Suzanne Brockmann thing.

Well first I'm devastated because the release date has AGAIN been pushed back (I'm in tears!), and now I have to restrain myself from reading the last page (I always do!). My nails will be bitten to the quick by the time I actually finish reading this book!! Judith, you're sooooo cruel!! ;-) Tina

You know guys, if the suspense is killing me and if i can't stand the tension between the hero & heroine, i go to the last page but read only the last line because the last line is always reassuring for me. because i feel it telling me that everyting will be alright.

I defintiely thinks its a great idea that if a post is gonna be spoilers for STWOM, then it should be written in the topic line, that is a great idea.
I dont like to look at the last page I think it spoils it, but I often look further into the book, just to sometimes get a breif idea of what is gonna happen, kinda like quickly gazing into the future......

I never peek and read at the end..but Mrs. McNaught request not to read it because it would ruin it for us...have got me really curious! I really really want to know what it is..but I won't read at the end..I won't read at the end..I won't read at the end..
Okay so if I can reassure myself and kept repeating this..than I be okay
