Clearly--and understandably--you need a little extra reassurance. So how about this: On the coffee table in my office, about 6 feet from this computer, is a big stack of paper called "Galley Pages."
Do you know what galleys are? They're typeset book pages.
The change in the release date from 12/26 to 2/25 had to do with re-positioning the book to maximize it's potential on the best seller lists, to give book reviewers an advance chance to read the galleys, and to gear up for an advertising campaign which hadn't been planned until the people at S & S read it and were sort of extra-Wowed.
Prior to all that, STOWOM was scheduled to release with the usual fanfare my books always receive. Now they want to give it even more. See what happens when people (including people at publishers) get introduced to a really good novel in our genre?

Hey, that's only a two-hour ride from where I am. Anyone want me to head over there and just take a peek inside Judith's windows? Judith, can you be bribed with my extra-special homemade apple pie? Or do you prefer chocolate chip cookies? I can be there in time for dinner. I'm making quiche, and I can bring that too! LOL!!

Thanks Judith for clearing the air. I received my monthly packet from my book club (DoubleDay) and there is a flyer in it for Someone to Watch Over Me , I didn't notice it having a release date , but figured I just overlooked it. Lady Shannon

Drea, would you at least slow down as you pass my house to pick me up? I know you are in a hurry to get to Judith's, but please. My legs are short.

Road trip to Judith's?! It's like a mass DN exodus!
Bren if you girls happen to find yourselves in the city can you make room for me? I'll be the one in front of Penn Station with a sign that says "Judith's or Bust!". The H&H Bagels are on me!
And while I will admit to being one of the biggest pessimists when it came to the release date of STWOM, since this is Judith herself telling us that 2/25 is locked in, then like I said in a previous post, I will now allow myself to get officially excited about the release of this book.

If you are going to California to pick Karen up, you might as well swing by and pick me up in Arizona...you'd have to drive through there anyway! LOL!

Oh V! don't forget to save a seat for me. You know I have no problem riding in the back. Don't get car sick at all.
I'm so glad S&S loved the book that much. More advertising and publicity for Judith. That also means there should be more time for the promotional tour and more book goodies right. I so hope Louisiana is included somewhere in the signings.
